We feed our pack raw. But our Sr and apha girl started showing small signs of gut issues with tolerance so we switched to cooked raw and she recovered. I was concerned tho she wasn't getting all the benefits of her raw diet. Deep dived on the subject. Found Sundays, liked the facts n reviews and price AND they ship to Hawaii. Tried it. Wow!!! Its a huge hit. We now do half cooked raw n half Sundays. Our Sr dog dances in circles with joy at meal time. She luvs this stuff. And our minature young dog who can't always fit the raw meat in his little mouth so now we supplement with Sundays and he luvs it, hes the picky one. Would like to see the probiotic sample they sent with the 1st order be available. Very pleased. Only negative is its hard to feed according to the instructions, just doesn't look like enuf food. It is!!!
My very picky, notoriously opinionated Brussels Griffon loves the turkey flavor. We were recommended Sundays by our vet, and we love the nutritional profile and that the food is lightly cooked and minimally processed. We used to have to entice him to eat his old food by adding shredded cheese on top but now he goes running for the bowl when his Sundays food is in it.
The food quality is excellent! Their customer service is outstanding and is very responsive! My doggie loves it and is thriving.
Air-drying combines the best of cooked and raw approaches. Like raw (and raw processing methods like "freeze-dried raw"), air-drying preserves nutrients and taste better than high heat methods. Unlike raw, Sundays' unique air-drying process involves a "kill step," which eliminates pathogens, so unlike freeze-dried raw or frozen raw dog foods, there is no food safety or handling risk with Sundays.
Sundays' air-drying also makes the food dry enough to last for weeks after opening, but has enough moisture to eat without any additional preparation. That's easy Sundays for you!
USDA Beef, All Natural Turkey, and All Natural Chicken
Before opening, Sundays should stay fresh for ~12 months. After opening, Sundays should not spoil for at least 6-8 weeks.
